Anyone thinking about traveling to Honduras with other Church members, or even if you just want more information, feel free to attend this meeting.
If you want to donate items for those going to take with them, please bring to church by January 17.
Items needed:
  • Children's clothes (A LOT). We can bring good clothing and shoes to give away.  Any sizes but clothes ideally must be usable in a warm weather climate.  This can, however, include jackets and sweatshirts.
  • New socks: black or dark blue for school uniform
  • Underwear for boys & girls sizes from 6-10
  • Sports bras for girls from 6-13 years old
  • Some adult clothing, but generally people in Honduras are not tall.
  • You might ask your dentist for a donation of toothbrushes, samples, etc. to bring.
  • School supplies:
    • Permanent markers
    • Crayons
    • Markers
    • Children's scissors
    • Pencils, sharpener, and erasers
    • Staplers and staples
    • Pens red, blue, black
    • Batteries 2A & 3A
    • Glue sticks
    • Pencil cases
  • Bags of candy, individually wrapped, and NO chocolate (it melts)
