Hi! I started attending Johnston River of Life (JROL) about 10 years ago after exploring a few different churches. I like that the people are welcoming, and the Church is very focused on missions and helping others. I have reached out to various people from JROL over the years, and they have stepped up and been there for me - truly like family. I recently retired from teaching in the Medical Lab Tech program at DMACC; and, with my new "free-ish" time, I am happy to help out with administrative duties at JROL. I am still very passionate about "all things lab," but have a little more time to devote to my family and other interests: reading, yoga, baking and cooking, trying to garden (!), and hopefully more traveling.
